Sometimes we get scared of what the future holds. We say- ‘Am
I going to make it?’ ‘Am I good enough for success?’ ‘I might not become as
good as I want to be’ ‘I don’t think I can ever make it.’
Answer these thoughts through these 6 ways...
1. Having The Right Mental Attitude
First of all, feeling like a winner actually gradually makes
you a winner. You are a product of what you think you are. See yourself as
small and you will be small, see yourself as unsuccessful and that’s what you will
be. Most of the time, what we are scared of never would have really happened if
we didn’t have that feeling. Your mind becomes to form what you think and you
begin to gradually act what you think. Having a positive mindset structures you
to act with positivity and believe, therefore becoming acquainted with success
and eventually achieving it.
2. Starting Something Now
Rather than mopping around doing nothing and living in fear,
my best advice would be for you to pick up an area of interest and start
something now. Every little idea is going to eventually come out great with the
right and proper attitude. Let’s take for example a refuse about to be burned.
You have your matchstick, and the refuse. The fire from the matchstick is the
little idea. If you light the match and not work on how the fire burns the
refuse, the fire might go out without burning up the whole refuse but if you
took your time to guide the fire well, you’ll see that the whole refuse will
eventually be burned. That is how every little idea sparks up great fire.
3.Learning And Learning And Learning
As you start something, you shouldn’t just stop there. Keep
learning new things from what you’ve started and learn even more outside your
area. Learning gives you more knowledge and knowledge builds your confidence.
You get to know more and you start to realize that you can do more and what you
saw as impossible begins to be possible. Learn more to do more. If you are
stagnant, you will not achieve as you should and fear will set in.
4. Impacting Others
How does it feel to know more than someone else in any area?
Frankly, it brings happiness. Knowing more than others should not just be that,
take up the challenge to teach others what you already know. You will earn a
series of things- respect, confidence, contentment, joy. With all this feeling,
is it possible to still have fear? I hardly believe so.
5. Being Brave
If you want to overcome fear, then be brave enough to take risks.
There’s a difference between taking risks and being foolish. When taking risks,
you must evaluate the outcome of the risk to be taken. Check to find out the
best and worst that would come out of it. Make sure after weighing this, the
worst that will happen will not lead to something demoralizing or devastating. Be brave, take well calculated risks.
6. Relating With Like Minds
Being in the midst of people that talk and think like you
helps to boost your morale and encourages you to work and move on. Discussing
on your area of interest brings excitement on the inside. But you must be
careful because getting too excited can also be detrimental to your success. It
is either it pushes you to work or it causes you to get carried away and forget
the reason you’re excited. Share ideas with like minds and work together towards
making your ideas a reality.
Fear is only imaginary in one’s head. It is not
real but until you make it real, then it becomes real. Quench that thought,
insert the thought of success and always think success. Act, walk, think
success.
